How good do u cook?

Talking with stefan some time ago about how i like Tom Yang and curious how to ccok it, makes this question cross my mind. How good I canit cook. Well, IMO, I'm a good tester. i know if a dishes is lack of salt or not, lack of pepper or not and how much i should add to make the taste better.. Oftenly, I I can guess correctly what ingredient used in a dishes and know how to cook it. I used to cook for my family too .. but honestly recently I rarely go in the kitchen. I rarely cook. I rarely thought how to cook. My mother is career woman. She rarely cook, so she rarely take me to the kitchen also. I can cook when there is no helper in my house and every person in the family has a cook shift...lol... but that's the start. U know after the condition make me cook, actually cooking is not that hard. It's fun how u can make a variety of dishes...kinda like adventure sometimes... What i don't like in cooking is when preparing the ingredients and when I should clean the all the dishes,pan, etc..lol..

My family's favorite dishes by me is Sapo Tahu(what in english ya.. Tofu Sapo).. how do I describe it ya... It's like soup from chinesse I think. but rather chowder/puree. the ingredients is Tofu(u better fry it before), mushroom, chicken, green sawi(lol..I don't know what the english of sawi..it's vegetable lah),.. u can add other ingredient like shrimp, or any lah.. u add oyster ketchup, garlic slice, salt, pepper, sugar, a little, and maizena powder to make it puree. and here u are... is quite easy i remember.. now, I'm thinking in adding large yellow onion(its called Bombay onion here).. what will it taste ya... ok, that simple recipe from me..lol...

Talking about this makes me miss to cook... uughh.. If yaaa... I'm not busy..:( ... continue talking about cooking.. I can't cook Europen cuisine, except spagheti.. :( I've try looking for an european recipe.. but it seems that many of the cuisine is need the using of Microwave or oven, things that I have never use in my life.. eh, I once used oven, but it's kinda old stuff..
and plus I'm not familiar with ingredient that are ussually used in European cuisine...
I should learn it ya.. first of all, maybe i should often eat more european food ya.. there's only italian food available here... or, someone know another european restaurant in Jakarta????
I have seen a Greece rest somewhere..but i alredy forget where it is..

My friend, Dan is also I think a good cooker. he often take a pic dishes he makes and it looks yummy. I always remeber he promise to made me special dishes when I visit him someday.. :)
